Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Adeptus Mechanicus is a DLC for the turn-based strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War. This DLC introduces the Adeptus Mechanicus, a faction of the Imperium of Man known as the Cult of the Machine God whose members worship the Omnissiah.

Players take command of the Adeptus Mechanicus, an army of cybernetic cultists, as they attempt to uncover the secrets of the planet and its ancient ruins. The DLC adds new units, abilities, and technologies to the game, as well as new story content.

The Adeptus Mechanicus faction is unique in that they have access to advanced technology and cybernetic upgrades, making them formidable in combat. They also have a deep understanding of the mysteries of the universe and use this knowledge to their advantage.

As a faction, the Adeptus Mechanicus make use of new and exciting gameplay mechanics, including Canticles of the Omnissiah and Doctrine Imperatives to enhance their units. They can also place more buildings on every tile due to their gigantic Hive Cities, but their stagnant and ancient research methods increase their costs.

The DLC features a new campaign that takes place on the planet of Gladius Prime. Players must navigate through a dangerous landscape filled with hostile alien races and ancient ruins in order to reclaim the planer for the Adeptus Mechanicus. The new campaign also introduces new characters and storylines that expand upon the lore of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
