Sephonie is an indie 3D platformer focused on exploration that takes you on a journey through the massive cave system of the island that gives its name to the game. You follow the story of Amy, Ing-wen, and Riyou, three biologists shipwrecked on the island of Sephonie. Their original mission was to use their ONYX implants to research the creatures of this uninhabited place, but a sudden storm thwarts their plans. They now have to explore the caverns on the island in a journey that will deepen their bonds as they uncover the secrets of this isolated place.
Sephonie features a parkour-like movement system that allows you to navigate through the different scenarios in the caves by running along the walls and jumping off the ledges at top speed. Your objective is to find the different types of creatures on the island and "link" with them. You can do so by playing a puzzle system where you have to rotate in place a series of multi-colored pieces on a board to copy a certain image.
But an ancient force hides in the depths of Sephonie, and it could potentially threaten the future of the relationship between the three adventurers. Are you prepared to uncover the mysteries of the island?
