A direct sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Azure, Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Kai. Set three months after the events of the first game, Zero no Kiseki Kai takes place in Crossbell, a city on the edge of both the Erebonian Empire and the Calvard Republic. Both nations stake a claim on the autonomous city, which is an economic and trade center. Tensions arise as politics tear the city apart, leaving it at the mercy of corrupt officials and criminal organizations out to start a war.

Enter Lloyd Bannings, a young cop assigned to the Special Support System. Along with his teammates, heiress Elie McDowell, ex-security guard Randy Orlando, and electronics genius Tio Plato, he must investigate a cultist plot to raise a young girl named KeA to godhood, and thereby take over the land.

Turn-based combat in Zero no Kiseki Kai is similar to its predecessor. You fight on a grid map, with each character having unique combat abilities like ARts and Crafts. You can use elemental magic, and even perform tag team and crossover attacks like in Persona.

The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Kai offers 60 FPS support and high definition picture and sound to deliver the best experience on the PC. Also featured is a high-speed Skip Mode button, letting you jump between events at a faster rate, and do combat at quadruple speed. Now you have everything you need to defend Crossbell’s freedom. Time to be a hero!
