Escape to the peaceful small town in Lake, a slice-of-life tale set in September 1986. Play as Meredith Weiss, a burnt-out forty-something who needs a break from her overbearing boss and demanding sales job at a computer firm. Deciding she needs time away, she agrees to do a favor for her father, who is going on vacation. She goes back to her hometown of Providence Oaks, Oregon, for two weeks to take over her dad’s job of delivering mail. Before long, she reconnects with some of the familiar residents and finds new friends—perhaps even a romance. In the end, you must choose: stay in her hometown, or return to city life?
Lake is a choose-your-own-adventure type of game where your decisions shape the story. But instead of soul-shattering drama, you get a peaceful and often sweet tale of small-town living. As she does her rounds delivering mail, Meredith meets interesting people and gets to know their stories. Some are dreaming of finding a better place away from this provincial life. Others are looking to preserve that kind of life for future generations. You can hang out with your friends and deepen your relationships—one of which might even blossom to love.
All of this happens with the beautiful backdrop of the blissful Oregon countryside. Lake will provide you with a few hours of peaceful, diverting gameplay as you drive around Providence Oaks and perform menial tasks. What will your two weeks in your hometown be like, and what lessons will you learn along the way?

If you do not have a Steam account, you will need to download the client from the official website, install it and then create your account. Once you are logged into your account, click on "Add game" in the bottom left corner and then on "Activate product on Steam". After a few clicks on "Next", you can finally enter your CD key, the game will automatically be added to your library and the download will begin.
