The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV takes place just after the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, with tensions raging within the Erebonian Empire and war threatening to break out. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV retains much of the same gameplay functionalities of its predecessors, but with some improvements. In this installment, you'll benefit from the Class VII alliance with the Crossbell Special Support Squad, as well as the heroes of Liberl. The combat system now allows you to have gigantic mechas at your side, and you can also use Lost Arts which are more powerful in combat. In between battles, you can relax with a variety of mini-games, ranging from poker and blackjack to fishing and puzzles.
