In the game, you will be able to customize your own faction and build up its strength as you progress through the story campaign or challenge other players online. As commander, you will have access to over 200 different units and structures which can be combined in any way imaginable to create powerful armies. Each unit has its own set of strengths and weaknesses so it’s up to you how best to use them on the battlefield. You will also need to manage resources such as energy, ore, and research points to keep your troops supplied with ammunition and upgrades throughout each battle.
As well as playing through the single-player campaign or challenging other players online, Forged Battalion also offers some great cooperative modes where teams of two or more can join forces against AI opponents. In these co-op missions, each team member must work together towards a common goal while managing both economic resources and military power on the battlefield – making for some intense strategic challenges.
