Are you the victim or the culprit, the savior or the damned? You must ask yourself that question as you make your way through Gray Dawn, a game about murder, religion, and demonic possession.
You are Father Abraham, a priest in a small 1920's English town. You stand accused of killing an innocent altar boy named David. Somehow, you must prove your innocence, even as a demonic voice whispers in your ear that you are indeed the murderer.
Before long, you find yourself shifting between two realities. Each time you hear or think about the murder, you enter a trance and see gory and horrific apparitions: blood-spattered statues, upside-down crosses, tentacles stretching across beds, and spiders crawling over walls. However, sometimes you enter a place of light and hope, filled with religious icons and puzzles left by David for you to solve. Through it all, you must discover what truly happened with David. The salvation of your own soul depends on it.
Filled with striking imagery both religious and profane, Gray Dawn is a gore-filled first-person horror game that you won't forget for a while.
