The Fear Effect series continues with its latest episode, Fear Effect Sedna. Hana, Royce, Deke, and Rain return as they plunge into a dark supernatural tale. Tasked to steal a priceless art item, things start to go from bad to worse as Hana and her team soon find themselves dealing with Inuit myths and hopping between dimensions in a desperate battle against otherworldly monsters.
Retro Feels. The art and animation perfectly capture the tone and atmosphere of the original Fear Effect from PlayStation, while showcasing stylish new character designs. Anime-like cinematic cutscenes portray this thrilling and engaging tale.
Re-imagined gameplay. Instead of the fixed camera shooter style of the first two installments, Sedna is now an RPG third-person shooter where you rely on your AI teammates to back you up in a firefight.
Return to form. The Fear effect system is back: as your fear meter goes up, the risk of getting injured increases but you also deal more damage and gain special abilities. Keep that trade-off in mind and use it to your advantage.
Sedna brings the series back to life in an engaging and exciting way, that is, if you can master the Fear Effect.
