Ready to take down a corporate conspiracy? You will have to do exactly that in The Red Strings Club, a cyberpunk adventure where you are faced with an ethical question: how far can one company be allowed to go to give customers eternal bliss?
When the megacorp Supercontinent Ltd. announces its plan to release a system that would give unbridled happiness to the public, it was met by many with great acclaim, but by some with great suspicion. To the bartender of the Red Strings Club and a freelance hacker, this is nothing less than brainwashing. With the help of unwitting Supercontinent employees and a rebellious android, the pair willingly commit corporate sabotage to prevent the system from going live.
Such acts involve emotional manipulation of bar customers by concocting the right drink to get them to talk about the megacorp’s plans. Or using genetic implants in a high-tech pottery tool to influence highly-placed executives. Finally, you can also mimic employee voices to fool Supercontinent employees into fighting each other.
