Iron Danger is a real-time tactical game developed by Action Squad Studios. It features a unique time manipulation mechanic that allows players to rewind and fast-forward through combat scenarios in order to find the perfect solution.
The game’s story follows Kipuna and her friends as they battle an ancient evil known as the Corruptor. Throughout their journey, Kipuna will use her newfound powers of time manipulation to turn the tide of battle against her enemies, taking advantage of moments in time when her foes are temporarily vulnerable or at a disadvantage.
Players can manipulate time by using ‘Time Shards’. These allow them to perform actions such as changing the direction of a projectile, reviving fallen allies or even controlling characters directly by ‘possessing’ them for short periods of time. This creative mechanic adds an extra layer of strategy on top of traditional tactics such as covering areas with projectiles and deploying troops efficiently.
