Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is a strategy game that reminisces of the Total War series but with a dark twist. The game is set in a region dominated by different vampire clans that have been ruling their respective territories in relative peace for hundreds of years. In Warmont, the Realm of the Bloodthrone, Vlad and Cecilia Dracul rule over a court of vampires while they feast on their human subjects. To the East, the cold and desolated lands of Mourterra, The Land of the Dead, are home to the corrupt Nosfernus bloodline. In Esain, The Frozen North, the Moroia perform forbidden blood magic rituals in a constant search for power. But the foundations of the world of the vampires are going to be shaken as the flames of war threaten to destroy the fragile peace that has maintained the current situation for years.
Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is a turn-based strategy game where you control one of three different vampire clans. Each of them has unique powers, troops, characters, and gameplay mechanics and as the story of the game unfolds you will discover the secrets of the vampire world as you fight with other vampire lords. The game features gameplay mechanics similar to Total War games, where you move your lord and army through a map that is divided into several territories. Each lord has a certain amount of movement and action points that they can use to move to different locations and engage in different activities. The combat is turn-based and you will deploy your troops and move them on a grid to attack your enemies. Each of the lords has a different deck of vampiric powers that are represented by cards which can be used in combat for several effects.
The game includes a single-player campaign with ten scenarios, but it also features a sandbox open-world mode and a skirmish mode for those that want a different experience.
