As the Penitent One, a silent and guilt-riddled protagonist, you are the sole survivor of the massacre of your brethren. Gifted with the sword Mea Culpa, you must now journey through a land ravaged by the Grievous Miracle to fulfill an ultimate penance.
A world of suffering. Travel through Cvstodia, a dark gothic world filled with tainted religious imagery and hellish enemies that embody suffering. Fight your way through a brutal gauntlet of twisted foes and environmental traps to reach the Cradle of Affliction. Discover secrets and meet lost souls that need help or salvation.
Punish the evildoer. Destroy enemies with Mea Culpa, the Sword of Guilt. Discover and unleash wrathful combos that will turn your foes into a mess of blood and gore.
Build your own Penitent One. Find and equip yourself with Relics, Rosary Beads, Prayers, and Sword Hearts to increase your power. Create your own playstyle to match the enemies that will block your path.

If you do not have a Steam account, you will need to download the client from the official website, install it and then create your account. Once you are logged into your account, click on "Add game" in the bottom left corner and then on "Activate product on Steam". After a few clicks on "Next", you can finally enter your CD key, the game will automatically be added to your library and the download will begin.
