Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition is the Nintendo version of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, the remastered edition of the original Bulletstorm developed by People Can Fly and eventually Epic Games.

Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition is a shooter with a single player story and co-operative multiplayer.

Game story

This game takes us forward in time a hundred years to follow the story of Grayson Hunt, the leader of a black ops team called Dead Echo that works for the Confederation of Planets. Along with his men, they are tricked into killing an innocent man in one of their missions, being forced to desert the military and survive in the galaxy on their own. Ten years later, Hunt finds an opportunity to claim revenge from the person who tricked them when they get involved in a tricky military plot.

Gameplay

The title features a single-player campaign where you follow Hunt’s story while fighting against the mutants and other enemies from the planet Stygia. It’s a first-person shooting game where you move around shooting enemies, upgrading your weapon and skills, and becoming more powerful.

Overkill Mode will unlock once you finish the main campaign. This mode enables you to replay your game, but this time you can use all the weapons you have collected from the beginning. You can try and experiment with various strategies to destroy your opponents.

Multiplayer Mode comes in the form of Anarchy and Echo Mode. Anarchy puts you in a team of four where you fight against 20 waves of enemies through 12 maps. While the Echo Mode is a points-based mode and includes several challenge maps. You can compete against others trying to get your best score to place your name at the top of the leaderboards.
