Telltale's The Walking Dead: The Final Season follows the pattern that made popular other games developed by Telltale and functions as a sort of graphic novel where we control the main character whose decisions have an impact on the way the story unfolds, even affecting future episodes. The last season of the adventure game by Telltale Games based on the comic book series of the same name created by Robert Kirkman is divided into four different episodes. All of them follow the story of Clementine and AJ after the events of A New Frontier.
Episode 1: Done Running. Raising AJ in a world full of zombies hasn´t been easy for Clementine, but when they join a new group at the secluded Ericson School for Troubled Youth their luck seems to have changed for good. AJ has trouble fitting in and a series of events will eventually lead to them discovering the secret behind how the school remains safe from the zombies.
Episode 2: Suffer the Children. After leaving Ericson, Clementine and AJ will be threatened by the return of a figure from her past. They return to the school to help the children surviving an enemy attack that will have dire consequences.
Episode 3: Broken Toys. This is the first episode developed by Skybound Entertainment after the shutting of Telltale Games. This episode will focus on the past of Clementine, featuring many people that she has met during her journey.
Episode 4: Take us Back. The last episode of the series is expected to be released at some point in 2019. Nothing has been unveiled about it yet.
