In the game, you must guide a boy through an odd world that progressively becomes ravaged by war, as he attempts to find various treasures for a dragon-like being.
Gorogoa is a dreamlike play of scenes. Time, space, shape, and size are all relative in this world. In order to progress, you must move images around a 4-grid square. You can zoom into images to find more images and puzzles, or pan them around until you find something of interest. You can even move images on top of each other to form a new one. Once you get images just right, the magic happens. The pictures come to life, forming a scene that moves the story forward.
