In Days Gone, take control of Deacon St. John, a wandering bounty hunter in a post-apocalyptic world. Set two years after a major zombie outbreak, St. John is a loner, more comfortable surviving alone on the road than joining one of the few remaining human encampments. In this open world adventure game from SIE Bend Studio, players explore the depths of desperation, the ties of brotherhood, and the search for meaning in a post-apocalyptic world. Utilizing the power of the Unreal Engine 4, Days Gone brings players a massive and completely open world to explore on the back of St. John’s motorcycle. Investigate the broken remains of human civilization, from abandoned cars and trucks along the highway to the derelict buildings of small cities. Players will do so at great risk, however, because the zombie hoards could be anywhere! The world of Days Gone is extremely interactive and engaging. Lighting effects are done in real time, meaning you’ll have to wait a minute for your eyes to adjust when entering dark buildings. The developers’ attention to detail even extends to the in-game weather, which affects enemy movement and actions. Building on the traditions of zombie apocalypse lore, Days Gone introduces Freakers, an animalistic human revenant with needs and habits that players can learn, adapt to, and exploit. Play through the true sandbox game in the way you choose, as Deacon is capable of both stealth operations and all-out frontal assaults. Set in the diverse landscape of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone offers players a sophisticated game play experience in an innovative, post-apocalyptic world. If you do not have a Steam account, you will need to download the client from the official website, install it and then create your account. Once you are logged into your account, click on "Add game" in the bottom left corner and then on "Activate product on Steam".
