    Arma 3 Apex is the first expansion for the military shooter, Arma 3, which brings a new map, new faction, a new cooperative campaign, new weapons and so on to the game. The new Tanoa map features lots of interesting environments like rainforests, a volcano, shanty towns, a sugar cane factory and so on. Tanoa offers a lot of ways to approach your enemies, be it a big, all-out attack or a more quiet, covert op mission. The new faction is called Syndikat and it's made out of armed thugs and ex-paramilitaries. The Syndikat is involved in a lot of illegal activities, and their members usually carry around firearms like the AKS-74U, AKM, and AK-12 Assault Rifles, LIM-85 Light Machine Gun, RPG-7 Launcher, and the handy. New vehicle classes are also introduced in the Apex expansion. The flexible V-44 X Blackfish and Y-32 Xi’an VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft will provide new tactical options as it has both the strength fixed- and rotor-wing transportation. You can use the new Prowler or Qilin LSVs (Light Strike Vehicles) if you need something flexible on the ground to drive. Two new UCAV drones: KH-3A Fenghuang and MQ-12 Falcon have also been added to Arma's arsenal. New civilian vehicles have also been added, so you have the MB 4WD Offroad Car, Caesar BTT Propeller Airplane, RHIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat), and the Water Scooter to drive around. Players will take the role of a NATO CTRG special operator in the new 1-4 "Apex Protocol" co-op campaign. The events in the original Arma 3 "The East Wind" campaign will be connected to Apex Protocol, and your team gets sent to Tanoa to stop a humanitarian disaster, but the situation changes and they end up facing a far bigger threat than they imagined. Replayable missions and drop-in and drop-out multiplayer structure together with the difficulty scaling that's based on the number of players playing makes this co-op campaign a truly immersive, interesting experience.
