    Enter a grimdark world where you pit your skills against the most evil and powerful mages of Alderstone. Salt and Sacrifice is a 2D Souls-like platformer that’s a sequel to the 2016 hit, Salt and Sanctuary. You are a Marked Inquisitor, punished for your crimes and condemned to a life of hunting down evil wizards. You must wander through ancient gothic castles, dark tombs, and black forests to find your quarry. Be warned—every location is filled with enemies deadly enough to kill you with a few blows. 



    Salt and Sacrifice lets you choose your starting class: Assassin, Cleric, Fighter, Duelist, Highblade, Paladin, Ranger, and Sage. Your choice determines your starting equipment in skills, but as you gain experience, you can invest in other skills to create your unique build. If you prefer polearms as a weapon, pick the Ranger class. If you prefer to heal yourself, use the Cleric.



    What’s more, Salt and Sacrifice improves the previous game’s mechanics, giving you the ability to wall jump, craft items, and summon NPCs or other players to help you in combat. On the other hand, you can also invade another online player’s world and fight them in a duel. It’s everything you can ask for from a Souls-like game.
